Sunday Meetings

Our Church Family meets every week at 11am for refreshments so that we have plenty of time to welcome everyone before we gather together to praise and worship God. We sing and pray, read the Bible and hear a talk that helps us apply the truths within it to our everyday lives. Everyone is welcome: if you are not used to going to church you will find that everything is explained and that you are under no obligation to take part in anything. There is no dress code – please wear what you feel comfortable with - and rest assured, we don’t collect money during any of our services. IMG 0129

Once a month we stay to eat lunch together and pray for our church, the town, our mission partners and other needs around the world.

There is wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities. We meet in the Baptist Church building on the corner of Ombersley St. East and Winnets Lane, and there is free parking in Morrisons car park next door.

What about my children?

We are a family, and we want to involve and include our children and young people in as much as we can. To that end, during our meeting times it will be normal to hear kids making some noise, and adults talking to children explaining what's going on and helping them to engage. We also suspect that sometimes the children are actually helping the adults . . . !

To facilitate this we try to provide some resources that will help. At the back of the meeting room there are some comfy seats and soft toys for toddlers to play with, and the cafe is an easy escape through the back corridor if you need time out. For children in First school (years R-4) we have the option of them leaving the main meeting during the talk for a more age-appropriate look at the Bible with a couple of volunteer adults. Middle and High-schoolers make use of materials designed to help them listen to the talk and understand the main point - again with the help of friends or adults nearby.

We're committed to helping parents in their task of raising their children to know and love the Lord Jesus, and as such we have age-specific groups that meet outside of our main meetings for anyone between years 5 -13.

Hub meets on Mondays between 6.45pm and 7.45pm for anyone in Middle and High School (yr5 - 13). There are games, hot chocolate, and time to study the Bible (in particular to follow-on from the talk the previous Sunday) and pray together. For more information contact us here
